Leigh Paranormal Investigation Team

We are a paranormal investigation group based in Leigh, Lancashire. We are a non-profit group that is interested in paranormal phenomena. We investigate places of interest using both scientific and psychical techniques, we will also research the histories of buildings and people associated with them, collect heresay, reported sightings, and psychic evidence.
We aim to create a history of the places we have held investigations in. This will include reported hauntings into which we will have researched to find possible historical facts whch link the hauntings with real people. To do this our history team will search through library archives, internet articles, local history books etc.
We will use every means at our disposal to document and archive our findings for the future.

Leigh Paranormal Inivestigation Team hold weekly meetings where we discuss our findings, upcoming events, new equipment and how various pieces of paranormal equipment work.

Currently we charge a weekly subscription of £1.00 per week payable to all members who attend our meetings. These fees go toward paying deposits to secure new investigations and toward the purchase of new equipment for group use.
   
    We have experienced team leaders who are able to guide members of the public through their first investigation, and explain the experiments and equipment.
 There may be times when the size of a location, etc., dictates that numbers attending investigations have to be limited. Should this occur we will use a rolling-rota to ensure everyone who wishes to attend is afforded the oppourtunity in due course.
